Ministry's Purpose:
The vision for Family Day is for New Hope Baptist Church to celebrate the unity and connection of the congregation as a body of believers in Christ Jesus through worship, praise, prayer, thanksgiving, food, fun and fellowship.

Whom does this Ministry Serve?
The New Hope Baptist Church body of believers and their families.

Main Activities:
Family Day includes a full day of activities starting with praise and worship services followed by food, fun and fellowship. Family Day T-shirts are sold to further encourage the family reunion atmosphere.

Meeting times:
Planning begins in February/March of the year Family Day is held. At least 120 days of planning and preparation are needed to execute this event. The planning committee meets bi-weekly or as needed and monthly with ministry leaders and committee heads.

What spiritual gifts, special skills or requirements are needed?
All volunteer and team leaders should be ever mindful of the fruit of the spirit. Everything is needed: Volunteers to help with preparation, setup, tear down, security, food prep, food service, games and recreation for youth and adults. Team leaders for all of the various committees are needed.
