NMO Information and Classes

New Member Orientation training involves attending 4 classes held on the 1st through 4th Sunday of each month. The corresponding classes are shown below:

1st Sunday - Class 201, Discovering Spiritual Maturity
What does it mean to be a member of God's Family and the Family of New Hope Baptist Church, and how you develop the habits for spiritual maturity? This class focuses on five basic habits Christians need to develop in their movement towards spiritual maturity.

2nd Sunday - Class 101, Discovering Church Membership
You have taken a BIG step towards spiritual maturity! This class will help you understand God's desire for you, ways to express your faith, along with the purpose of our New Hope Ministry. You will also learn why our church exists, what our church believes, and how you personally fit into those purposes. This class includes the Baptism class which is required before you are baptized.

3rd Sunday - Class 301, Discovering My Ministry
This is the third of New Hope's four foundational classes. It is recommended that you have already attended Class 101: Discovering My Membership and Class 201: Discovering Spiritual Maturity before taking this class. We believe it is important to the habits of spiritual maturity before you begin your ministry. The goal of this class is to help you discover how you are "shaped" and to challenge you to find a ministry based on your spiritual giftedness!

4th Sunday - Class 401, Discovering My Life Mission
The goal of this class is to challenge you to commit the rest of your life to sharing the Good News with other people, and to use your time, talents, and your treasure for God's Kingdom, regardless of where it leads or what it costs.
