New Member Orientation

Ministry's Purpose:
NMO exists to help new members develop a closer relationship with God. This is accomplished as we REACH all New Members of New Hope and help them CONNECT with other Christians. In turn, they will GROW in their faith, and we will CHALLENGE that growth as they DISCOVER their ministry and HONOR God with their life!
Whom does this Ministry Serve?
The New Member Orientation Ministry serves all new and existing members of New Hope Baptist Church. This ministry also serves those considering membership.
Main Activities:
* Teach and instruct during the Sunday School hour a series of four foundational classes
* Act as a resource when a new member has questions
* Hosts and participate in the New Member Orientation Fellowship Breakfast
* Attend Ministry meetings
Meeting times:
The New Member Ministry Team meets every 5th Sunday at 9:45 a.m. in the lower level of the church in Rooms 3 & 4.
How does a person become a worker in the ministry?
Once you have completed New Members Orientation, you simply need to have an interest in sharing and presenting God's word to new believers. You can express this interest to anyone in the NMO ministry and make arrangements to "sit-in" on any of the New Member classes. In addition, we expect you to attend ministry meetings held every 5th Sunday morning at 9:15 a.m. in the lower level in Rooms 3 & 4.
