Tarra Thompson

Position: Church Administrator

As Church Administrator, Tarra feels it is a privilege to serve the congregation as well as help the Pastors conduct the business affairs of New Hope Baptist Church decently and in order. Since joining New Hope in 1999, Tarra has been involved in a number of ministries and is currently most active in the Youth Ministry as well as the choir. Tarra also serves on the board of directors of Safe Haven Ministries, a shelter for battered women, and facilitates online business courses through University of Phoenix. Tarra derives great pleasure from the wide variety of responsibilities the Church has entrusted to her and sees her job as a ministry to the Church. If she isn't working or volunteering, she enjoys spending free time with her daughter, Maya.
