As the Administrative Receptionist of New Hope, Michelle feels that God has placed her exactly where He knew she needed to be. “In every turn of my life, New Hope was there. I grew up here and that is why I take such pride in the work that I do.”

Michelle’s father joined New Hope in 1961; with her mother not far behind, in 1967. She and her older brother were both born into the family of New Hope.

Michelle graduated from Grand Rapids Central High School in 1991, and received a certificate of Cosmetology from Jordan College in 1992. Before coming to New Hope, Michelle worked nearly 10 years at Metro Health Hospital in Health Information Management as a Discharge Analyst, while furthering her education at Davenport University.

Michelle’s greatest joy is her son, Brandon.
