Dallas Lenear

Position: Executive Pastor

Dallas was saved by grace through faith at the age of 10 at New Zion Baptist Church in Flint, MI. He was licensed to preach and ordained at New Zion Baptist Church in Flint, MI under the leadership of Dr. W. G. Terry. He served on staff at Messiah Missionary Baptist Church in Grand Rapids, MI where the pastor is Dr. Clifton Rhodes, Jr. as the Membership Ministry leader from 2000-2002. He completed his Bach. of Bus. Admin. at the University of Michigan in 1993 with emphases in Finance and Computer Information Systems.

Completed Master of Divinity degree in Pastoral Ministries at Grand Rapids Theological Seminary in August, 2002. He was then employed at GRTS in their Graduate Admissions office eventually becoming the Director of Graduate Admissions. Served as the Interim Pastor of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Grand Rapids, MI from October 2004 - October 2005. By God's providence, he returned to New Hope in January 2007 to serve as Executive Pastor under the leadership of Senior Pastor Howard Earle, Jr. He is husband of Senita Lenear and father to Senina Thompson. He is the son of Dave & the late Marie Lenear-- he is the youngest of their 8 children! He enjoys reading, playing basketball, cheering on the Pistons and the Wolverines, watching movies and playing Scrabble. He is passionate about biblical truth and about personal financial excellence.
